About the role of Senior Marketing Manager

Today, Shippr is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to own the marketing funnels of the company.

As a Manager at Shippr, you will be in charge of attracting site traffic using online and offline channels, converting those leads into users (customers or carriers) and nurturing our users to make them act as ambassadors of our service! What are the responsibilities of a Marketing Manager @Shippr?

  • Build and drive the 360° marketing plan across all channels (both offline and online) for Brussels and Paris;
  • Define marketing strategy based on extensive analysis of competitive landscape, trends and especially local customer/carriers needs;
  • You have excellent (copy)writing and communication skills (writing press releases, newsletters, contacting journalists, writing articles, developing promotional material, etc.);
  • You know how to organize different tasks and projects, prioritize and manage your time;
  • You have experience with managing social media and creating rich content for social channels and/or for websites;
  • You use datas to analyze and optimize marketing campaigns;
  • Implementation and monitoring of Adwords, LinkedIn Ads and Facebook Ads campaigns;
  • You can manage on-page SEO and off-page SEO for the company;
  • “Acquisition - Activation - Retention - Referral - Revenue” is your leitmotive;
  • You’re responsible for the budget planning, allocation and day-to-day follow-up
  • Help to shape Shippr's future with your vision, ideas and skills;

Preferred Experience

What are the qualities for the job?

  • Bachelor or Master in Marketing, Communication or E-Business
  • 7-10 years of experience as a Marketeer
  • You have very good writing skills in French and flawless English (Dutch is a plus)
  • An experience (basics) with Business Development to better understand and work with the Sales department
  • Management of priorities, planning and releases
  • You are passionate about the world of startups and new technologies
  • You are objective oriented
  • You are able to setup a marketing strategy from conception to production
  • You can take action based on analytics and datas
  • You define strategies and have the guts to follow-up
